Roscoe Special Order For CliffD

Gard is totally taking care of the case damage, no biggie. I've got a set of black beauties, fat beams and high beams on hand and still haven't put any of 'em on, I'm diggin' these nickels a lot right now!

We all know Gard will "TCB in a flash" :smug:. Y'know I would've thought the strings would be "blah", but they're not. I dunno if it's the different gauges or what but I dig 'em too.

(I still may go with Blue DR's when time comes for a new set, just to tee off the haterz ;))

:D

God Bless, Ray

Dittos here on the nickels. Got my LG used and put on the same set of D'addario nickels that Roscoe would have installed from the factory and I love them. They feel soft, but sound brighter like stainless. I too have a set of Black Beauties, but will keep those for the Cen Standard Onyx.

Oh, and by the way..............................Stunning bass! (not sure if you noticed the mass appeal).:smug:

I have a set on my LG right now, with slightly different guages though, than the Roscoe preferred, but I'm in total agreement, and I usually dislike D'Addario rounds, though, I think I'm swapping back to dunlops on this bass, or to SITs, like on my fretless, next chance I get, I dunno yet.
