roundwound strings for precision

You might really like DR Nickel LoRiders---I love 'em on my Jazz and L2500, and one of my P's will be getting them soon . . .
Not harsh--nice and round and warm. The only thing they don't do so well, is a really clanking rock sound, like Rotos can.

I've had DR Hi-Beams on my P for a couple of months now. I really didn't like them. Too much zing and not much depth IMO. I've put on a set of GHS Precision Flatwounds (flats for the first time), and I really like them so far. Mellow, thumpy sound, and really deep. I like to have this sound on my P, cause I have a Lakland JO 5-string with roundwounds for a more bright, modern sound.

I also have a set of SIT Silencers and GHS Pressurewounds waiting to be tried, but I really do like the sound of the flats, so it may be hard putting on strings with a more roundwound sound on the P again.
