Routing Depth?

Hey TB'ers - did some searching and I couldn't find the answer. I need to know what the routing depth is for installing a Bassline SCPB-3. I just purchased the Bassline and am ready to cut wood. I didn't know if you make the routing depth the same as the height of the p/u so when completely bottomed out the pickup could be flush with the top of the body. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It also depends on how close to the strings you want/need the pickups to be. I've never installed basslines so I can't help you there. Also I like to have about a 1/4 play underneath for foam to act as a spring and prevent unwanted vibration.

Also another thing to consider is how thick is your body?

It's only measuring to figure any of this stuff out. I'm sure the basslines literature should suggest the distance from the string, measure from that point to the surface of your bass, then measure the pickup height and subtract.
Good luck,
Dirk
