Running pedals straight into a power amp

I’ve done a bit of “catch and release” myself. But sell my Smoothie comp? Inconceivable!

You, my friend, have waded into deep waters!

Good luck with the quest!

I see a Quad Cortex and super nice in ear monitors in your future.
I recently became aware of the Quad Cortex. It seems impressive. Bass amps don't get much lighter than that. If money were no object, that would probably be my next move. But at the same time, I have tried various digital effects over the years, and I just can't handle tweaking menus, presets, apps, desktop programs, firmware updates and the like. I'm too old for that nonsense. Give me analog knobs I can touch and feel and adjust on the fly anytime. Even if it means schlepping a 100lb pedalboard.

On a side note, with the Sansamp running into the power amp, I prefer using the 1/4” out with the +10dB engaged. It seems to give it a bit more punch than using the XLR out.
