Polly Pizzling

Just scored a silvery smooth cabasa,
One more thing I need to master,
Something between a good massage
And a natural aural disaster.

It was meant to be for ramping pies,
One odd strand on a cymbal sizzling,
But the cutting rhythm gushing forth
Turned my scissoring towards the north,

I couldn’t corrupt the intended use,
Cabasa’s now a hand masseuse,
Flew in like a long-neck goose,
Striking Polly Pizzling.

Why not just remove the "/Contest" from the thread title? That just makes it a running poetry thread with no maintenance on your part.

Don't think that I haven't been considering doing just that. We'll see how this week goes.

I will continue to post, all the same, whenever inspiration gives me the side-head thwack.

I give up, all the time. One run, published as ebay feedback,
over a period, some time back, began a hafted haiku stealth poetry habit.
It was very rewarding, a lovely challenge, and people took notice, believe it or not
It's a wonderful world. The race to the bottom's up, upturn the loving cup.

The poetry here has been a breath of fresh air. Rewarded, we are, with thanks
Anti-art is a thing. (Read The Thing). Same old same old horror story — igno-rant.
Art for art's ache — the only way to unravel. Bang the gavel. Guilty! You're honor.
