Very good sir! I was trying to figure out the meaing of 9:12.... I totally missed the 21:00 idea....and me being an Army vet. :hmm: ;)

Well, I know in iTunes you can assign EQ settings for individual tracks as well as custom volume levels. Windows Media Player is something I don't use being a Mac guy. :smug: I made a custom EQ set that is chosen in the photo below attached.

HOLY &;@:!!!! Already almost halfway through learning Seven Cities, that intro!! And Clockwork Angels (track) and The Garden are just amazing....and the guitar riff for Carnies, and all of BU2B, and the depression of BU2B2, and the rest of the album.....ahhhhh I've listened to it about 8 times through in the past three days....

That intro is so dang funky. I like how Neil Peart throws in that cowbell after Geddy starts going nuts with that riff. :D

Rush's Clockwork Angels is currently #3 on iTunes, set to be #2 on the Billboard top 200 when they release their list Wednesday, and is holding steady at number ONE on Amazon's music best seller list.

TAKE THAT ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!!!

Wouldn't it be cool if music came on four tacks that the listener could set their own mix with? Just like setting the L/R balance but giving the listener four tracks to mix on their own? Sortof like a "general midi" standard idea where some bussing would be done so the vocals would always be on (let's say) track one, drums/bass on track two, rhythm guitars and keys on track three and lead instruments on track four. It ain't perfect but if a standard was set producers and consumers would get used to what's supposed to be where.

I could see something along these lines in our future. It's really not that much different of an idea than surround sound.

It sucks buns when good music is ruined when overzealous marketing efforts fuddup the mix. I keep hearing complaints about the mix on this album. Too bad. Good god at least it isn't Vapor Trails or more Rupert Hine poo.
