Always 'liked' & respected Rush. I am becoming a 'fan'.
When I first heard Rush-
Guitarist in my HS garage band had their 1st two LPs (1974-75?).
At the time, Zeppelin was one of "my bands". So, hearing Rush at the time...meh...they're copping Zeppelin's vibe.
In late '75-'82...for me, it became Jazz-Jazz Fusion & R&B/Funk (my Jazz-Nazi daze)-
I did not listen to any Rock during those years...so I have a big gap goin' on.
In lock step with the other Rush thread (Why Don't Women Get This Band?)-
Last night I watching (again) The Time Machine Tour; my wife comes in & sez "...his voice is annoying; I can take maybe 1-2 songs then I'm done".
