Hello friends bassists from all over the world:)

Look, what I`ve done yesterday with my RW red fiesta bass. The neck is from 1990x, I took it from my Squier Jazz Bass Silver series made in Japan. Very smooth playing neck, very comfortable for me too, very nice satin flame maple on the back of the neck. Soundwise...maybe a bit warmer and less sustain comparing to original neck, not too much different though.
But tell me how it looks like? Is it too horrible to ruin such a nice piece of art? Or should I go further and put a black or tort pickguard on it? I know it is my bass, but who thinks what?

Oh, and if i swap stock pickups with Saymor Duncan Antiquity, will i get noticable improvement/difference in sound?

And yes, those are flats on it, so, what about tort now? :)
