I saw that. That was a good video. They got a bad rap because there's a little plastic sleeve that wears out after a while and then the switch doesn't work. But you can replace it with a short section of plastic tubing from a ball point pen. There's a youtube video about it.
I figured out how it works. Is there any way to delete a post on here?
Posts #10 #11 and #14I suggest telling us how it works, what you learned, and letting the post ride for others in the future.
Yes.No worries.I am learning the ropes on here.Welcome to TB.
This thread will also demonstrate to you that many people don't read the thread. They read the title and do a driveby posting.
It's all good.

Thats what i would think. That is they way it is on the TDPRI forum.I have been on there for years.I don't see a lot of threads being deleted around here. The mods want a compelling reason to do that.
Cool! I shouldn't have made such a sweeping pronouncement about the S-1 switch. I didn't like it on a P-Bass, but it's great that it works for you!Actually had great sucess with my P Bass mod using the S-1 switch. Used it to switch between two different wirings and cap values.
So I goes from a vintage Pre CBS wiring to a 70’s wiring. Each with the period correct cap values. And it really was an incredible tonal improvement for moi.
