So, I did send in an email to SA to see what they say, but figured I'd ask here too.
First: I'm using a Schecter Elite 5 bass with active EMG 40DC pickups.
The issue I'm having is on bypass. I'm getting distortion and some signal degradation. When I sent Source Audio the email, I didn't realize this, but it has to do with the output from my bass. When I have the volume bridge pickup all the way down and the neck pickup just slightly up, I don't seem to be having this problem. The issue there, of course, is that then I can't get the tone from the pickups that I want. (I also did make sure that it was this pedal by running just through it).
So the question is, does this pedal have a known issue with very hot pickups? Or is there something else that went wrong with the pedal, and can it be fixed?
