Sadowsky and Cocobolo

Is it me, or is the shape of the lower horn on that one a little more 'pointy' than the standard Sadowsky Modern?

I like it just fine the way it was oiginally built or shown in the first photo. Nice! really nice.

If I could have a preference it would be an ebony board with no face dots.

You can contact Sadowsky, they will give you a quote on one like this. I don't know how much they go for these days (I bought mine in '96) but I guess it's close to 5000$

I think it's amazing enough as it is. I like the whole colour-scheme. You don't think that a maple board would look a little over the top on that body?

I would strongly suggest a roasted maple neck. The darker amber hue might be a better match for the cocobolo than raw maple.

Instead of a matching head stock roast the neck and fingerboard. That will darken the maple, like caramel brown.

Nah, the fret board needs to be highly figured scrimshaw with no face dots. For the price, just download the price list and add your specs up. It will likely be somewhere between 5-5.3k
