    Nice one!

You'll love those single coils. :D
  2. Very cool. I have a similar one with single coils on order. Let us know how it sounds!!!! Nice!

  3. If not I'll have the humcancelling as an option! I can't lose!

I was just reading that thread from November where you guys were discussing the difference between the two...interesting stuff. I have a Deluxe Mexi Active Jazz right now... I figured this would be a nice upgrade.

What really sold me on the Sadowsky was this
    quote from Jason Newsted.

"To test each bass, I'd fill up a big tub with super hot water, dump in some salt, and submerge the bass.

Then, I'd take it out of the tub and put it in front of a coil heater for a few minutes. I'd repeat this same process three times with each bass. Finally I'd let it sit on a stand for a couple of days. Usually, the bass corrodes and doesn't play anymore. None of the basses passed that test and kept working except for the Sadowsky."

  11. For me, that quote just confirms why he doesn't play with Metallica anymore.

I am a Jason fan, but that is just a mean thing to do with such a beautiful bass.

Great bass and a very interesting pick guard. Enjoy!

I think you'll like the singles with the ash/maple. Is this your first sadowsky?
  17. Yes indeed.

Check out my profile to see what I own/owned.

Now, that's the way to buy a high-end bass...unless, of course you are veerrry picky.
