The look...
Just classic and hip. So light and evenly balanced as well. Beautiful and very easily played.
The Sound...
Like no other 5 string I've played. I have a 4 string MIM Jazz that plays pretty well, and this bass is just like riding a bike. There was literally no time needed in getting used to the feel of this guitar. Right out of the case, I was ripping. Took it to a 4 hour rehearsal on Saturday, and it really stood out! Everyone in the band was fully impressed. A super mean growl when needed, and a nice soft thump when needed.
I put new strings on it when I got it, the old ones were a little wimpy for my Rock tastes.
So I threw on some DR Low Riders.
Lovely!
I really couldn't ask for more.
Except for it to make me sandwiches.
Anyone know of a bass that does that?
