Sadowsky M5 Japan jack input?

Dear community; my beloved Sadowsky has a wobbly jack input, which turns around itself freely if I move it. It is that way since I bought it (used), but it's about time I fix this.

I'm not sure if it is missing an external piece, or if an internal piece needs to be tightened. Here is how it looks; any ideas? How does the original look? Couldn't find a helpful close-up image online so...

Worst case: I can replace the jack input altogether, but trying to avoid that if a simple fix will do it.

That’s an Electrosocket or a knock off. The jack is sticking out of the socket pretty far IMHO. I usually set them up so the end of the jack is pretty flush with the bottom of the socket. There should be a nut and a toothed washer in the inside. The washer goes between the nut and socket. Use the nut to set the depth of the output jack. If it needs to be replaced get a Switchcraft jack.

Your response, Matt, has been incredibly helpful; thank you! Now I know that no external part has fallen off or anything.

There is indeed an internal washer, but I can't reach in to tighten or loosen it due to soldered cables. Nevertheless, I was able to gently force-turn the entire part to tighten it in its socket. It doesn't move now, and the cables are safe and in place.

I could unsolder, disassemble, re-assemble, and re-solder everything, but in that case, I'd rather let my luthier handle it and install a fresh Switchcraft part, as you mentioned. Perhaps someday in the future.

For the time being, my problem is resolved. Cheers!
