Sadowsky MetroExpress Review: this is how you do it!

For €800 it is probably the new MetroExpress made by Warwick in China. For quality they will be double checked, by Warwick and by Sadowsky. They have the 2-band preamp without VTC, like the older Sadowsky's have. Here is a pic

As far as I know, the Roger Sadowsky Design Chinese basses are not on the market yet. If they are, they are a bit different because I think they are made of carolena instead of ash or alder, and they do not have a VTC. The build quality is supposed to be equal to more expensive Sadowsky’s. I may buy one if they hit the market in America this summer. I am pretty sure the bass will be good.

They will appear on the market in june. I know because I ordered one. Bodywood is okume, a lightweight African wood, that is also used in some of the expensive NYC models.

There is a 12 weeks delay cause of corona. So they will not be on the market in june, but probably in september.
I cancelled my order and bought a used Lakland Darryl Jones 5 with an East Dj-retro preamp.
