I may have posted this before, but I really like this review. He does a good job explaining the preamp. He demonstrates tones without giving in to excessive slapping.
On the other end of the price spectrum, he does a great review of the new Squier Jazz.
I hope you don’t buy another bass until you buy that Sadowsky you’ve always wanted .

I know it sounds terrible, but once I get that Fender out of layaway, I will probably sell it and the Sire for a MetroExpress Sadowsky.

Yes, I meant Sire! Having two active five strings would be great because I know the Geddy is great, but I almost never gig a four.
A++++ for the Express ! I love mine. So glad Roger brought the Sadowsky tone, quality, and playability to this price range.
**This is one bass I will be keeping for a very long time.

Good doctor, you have taken GAS to the next level by planning to sell a bass not yet purchased, and I salute you for that advancement!
The reason I am paying for the bass is that I made a spur of the moment purchase I soon regretted. I would have been better off just saving for the Sadowsky. I have been wanting one about ten years.

I needed to buckle down and save for one years ago. That said, the Carvin stays. I would not be surprised if I end up liking my SB5000 more than the Sadowsky, once I get it.
