Sadowsky Metroline Express??

For $1568.96 I'd much rather try this than a brand new Fender. I'm not a hater, I have 10 Fender basses already.
I'm using a google converter and coming up with $26931.61 (¥178,500 am I doing it wrong?)

*EDIT* My apologies. Apparently I was using Chinese Yuan, so yes, I was doing it wrong. The news of these being released has my mind going 1000 MPH :hyper:

Comparing the MV5 and RV5 models, I only see a difference in the body wood and the fingerboard. MV5 = Swamp Ash body and Maple fingerboard. RV5 = Alder body and Pau Ferro fingerboard. Are there other aspects I have overlooked?

Personal Finish preferences aside, which model are you (TB'ers reading this thread) leaning toward? MV or RV?

MV5. Ash body/maple board is right up my alley.

I've just sold my Fender American Pro jazz because it was unused since I got my Metroline UV60-4. This is a real keeper. I don't doubt that sadowsky when competing at this lower price point will produce a great bass.
