Sadowsky Modern 4 -24

Got it.

Love it.

The tone, the neck shape, the fit and finish, balance, playability. All are off the charts.

Modern hi fi sounding with tones to die for. I've waited years--literally--
for Roger to design and release this bass and it was well worth the wait.

  • quilt maple on chambered alder body
  • '59 burst finish
  • flame maple fingerboard
  • no dots inlays on the fingerboad; ony position markers on the side of the neck
  • black hardware

With Nordies at first

Thanks guys. I feel like silly saying "thanks" since it all Roger's and the crew's impeccable work. I just asked for the items of very nice quilt, '59 burst, flame board, no dots, black hardware.

The pictures do capture the quilt well; however, pardon the Ebay cliche, they do not the fingerboard justice. When I opened the case and saw the flamed fingerboard (no dot markers) I almost tripped over my tongue. I love the shape of the neck too.

 Nuts!!!

Now I've got buy another bass :atoz:.

I just sold my M5-24 because I wasn't to capable of handling 5 strings :smug: and (jokingly) said that I'd wait until Roger put out an M4-24 before I bought another Sadowsky.

Just goes to show ... be careful what you wish for :p!

That's a beautiful bass though, Jim. Can't wait for the soundclips :hyper:.

;)
