I am interested in buying a Satin or Deluxe Satin 4 string, likely used. Any newer feedback on these basses would be much appreciated. I have a '65 jazz bass, so I am not looking to replicate that.
I ended up buying a used (mint) Satin Deluxe 4 string in '59 burst. It's a great bass and I am very happy with it.
are you guys start making different pickguard by any chance?
i got white on my silver satin 5, would be cool if i could put tort on it
My '59 Burst Satin Deluxe 4 came with a white pick guard. I just purchased a tortoise pick guard from Sadowsky and put it on. The fit is perfect and I prefer how it looks on this bass.

Tort makes any colors look good, imo

I contacted Will at Sadowsky Guitars and ordered the tortoise pick guard; I sent him a photo of my bass. I was told that the Metro pick guard does not fit the Satin series and so they cut a new one for me. It's perfect.
