Sadowsky strings: black label vs blue label

All this action while I was sleeping  I think I'm going to change all my watches to ETZ. :bawl:

:D
Since it seems that all the nickels are gone, I'll order a few sets when my Sadowsky fretless is delivered.

Guys, keep us posted about your impressions, especially compared to the black labels. I already love the feel and tone of these.

Man, I love Roger.....ask him what the difference is between his two string series, and he doesn't make ridiculous and outrageous claims about construction methods--he doesn't say which star bassist prefers which set---no--he gives away 10 free sets. Haha.

Hmm....that gives me an idea.......Roger, what's the differnce between the rosewood and maple necked metros? I will email my address where I want the bass shipped...

No? Didn't work? Worth a shot.

OK guys, I have 10 worthy bassists who will receive strings. Responders who did not include an address or tell me if they wanted nickel or silver were disqualified.

BTW: The Blue Label strings are not available yet in XL length for 35" scale basses. So if you did write me and need XL's, please let me know as I do not have any.

Look forward to reading your reviews.

Roger, would you mind listing the TB'ers who are getting the strings? I never got an email back from you, so I don't know if I'm one of the lucky ones or not.

Also, will the standard length Blue Label strings that you have fit a 34.5" scale fiver? That is the scale of the bass I was hoping to try these strings on.
