Does a UV70 typically weight more than a Metro Vintage?

Can anyone tell me how much lighter a UV70 with an ash body would be than one with an alder body?

Really keen to purchase a Sadowsky UV70 but am a little concerned about the weight - the one I checked out on their site under 'recently sold' came in at nearly 10 pound

My current fender jazz is 9.2 pounds and even that feels kind of heavy on longer gigs.

Would be really keen to hear from UV70 owners as to how much their basses weight and whether the weight is an issue for them.

Mine weights 10 lbs and while I notice it's heavier than my other basses, it's manageable...especially with a wide strap.
