Samson USB monitors

WOW!

Anyone ever use them? They're nowhere near professional grade monitors, but man am I impressed.
Not only is the sound decent, but they have a BUILT IN INTERFACE lol. Imagine my surprise after opening the box to discover not only a copy of Cakewalk LE (meh) but that the speakers have 1/4 and XLR connections on the front.

At $90 USD, This seem to be a great "bang for buck" to get into home recording.

$90?! shag man mine were like $160. I do have these and they're pretty damn good bang for the buck. Decently flat sound, 2 ins with XLR and 1/4", hardware monitoring, 2 aux ins and 2 independent headphone outs with blend. And since the interface is built in, Zero latency hardware monitoring.:D

Literally my only problem with them is that my level pot is dirty and so the stereo image is unbalanced at certain parts of the curve. I seriously recommend these for anyone even casually interested in recording. Hell, I'd recommend them just as high spec desktop speakers- they're actually flat and they let you use an actual microphone on Skype.
