Sandberg California TT5 preamp

Hello,

I recently picked up a Sandberg California TT5 in a trade and I’m curious about the electronics. The bass is from 2019 (serial no. 34938) — does anyone know which preamp it came with originally? I haven’t received any form for documentation with the bass what so ever.

I think they come with GlockenKlang Pre-amps. Which are awesome. Fodera used to use them. On a side note the GlockenKlang Blue Bird is an amazing bass head.

I like the preamp very much so. It’s bit quiet, but very clear and clean. Really nice!

That's right about the time they changed pre-amps. So it could be the previous flavor. You could DM gregor on Facebook, he answers all my questions. But Sandberg in general has been very hush hush about what pre-amps they use for obvious reasons. Beaver or any of the guys at Bass Central In Florida USA can answer that question as well if you email them. As for volume that shouldn't be an issue you just can hit the gain for master volume on your bass head.
