The BBF is my favorite pedal. Out of all the pedals I own or have owned, I know it's the one I'll never sell. The break up and tonal balance is perfect. From what I understand, it's just a (slightly modified?) ram head muff clone, but it's better than any muff I've ever tried. Sounds awesome on guitar as well.

yeah.. it does have that effect on people... In our band I run one AND our guitarist runs one. Its interesting to me the difference in tone you get between the two instruments. On the same settings the bass can be thick and mean while the guitar is sustaining with a silky moany break up. I guess its the difference in frequencies and signal strength....

This is a pedal that I think is great. I was shocked how much I liked it, mostly because I'm not into the hype some pedals get. I generally wait until things cool off and little to spend time with stuff. This is one that will make many people happy.

Here's mine! I made the "art" for it with some of the packing Sonny shipped it in. That face was the first thing I saw when I opened the box, and I lol'd pretty hard, so I figured it was worth the effort.

interestingly enough, know why that came to be a euphemism for layday parts? in Japanese Kuchi means "lips and mouth area". so..... yeah.

Kuchi o susugu is "rinse out your mouth" which is just FUN to yell at people.

When I saw eyeball put this on facebook I almost shat myself. What a killer looking pedal.

I run an active bass so I roll my tone and gain all the way off and only turn up the volume pot. This results in the very exact tone I would ever want in a fuzz pedal. Plenty of low end and tone that will kick ass for days. I run the BB a chorus and an octave pedal and I don't want or need any other pedals. And Sonny is a great dude! One of my pots went bad more than a year after I got my pedal and he fixed it for free!

So awesome that these are still being made, S&S built me an OG silver one years ago and I loved it, unfortunately & regrettably I sold it off with a bunch of other stuff after I stopped gigging regularly.

Awesome pedal & I still remember loving that mine came with crumpled up comic book pages as packing in the box.
