SansAmp Input jack nut.

I been to 4 hardware stores today and cant find the right size nut for my SansAmp. And one got any ideas as to where to get one? Black plastic it looks like.

Do a Google search for 1/4” plastic jack nuts & you’ll get a bunch of results for sellers of these. There’re plenty available on Reverb for sure.

Thats all good but its not 1/4 inch. its 7/16. I can find them in silver but the hight is to tall.

I’m confused- they take 1/4” cables so how are they not 1/4” lol

Cant be the same size as the 1/4 inch cable.has to be bigger....

Without knowing the pitch of the threads and whether it's metric or SAE it's a shot in the dark. You can buy some nuts and use trial and error or possibly Tech 21 can tell you what brand and type of jack is used and point you in the right direction.

7/16, 20 tread, 3/16 tall. cant find a black one. Emailed sansamp waiti g for reply..

It's a Neutrik NJR, pretty cheap but shipping will suck. Shop around for the part number. They come in a few different colors, so that could be fun. Maybe order a few to have some on hand.

Also you'll get a much faster response if you call Tech 21 rather than email. They've been very helpful on the phone.

A 1/4 inch jack is 5/16 outside diameter but cataract is correct. If you google 1/4 inch jack plastic nuts you'll find what you need.

ill give it a try. but i took the other one off at 2 hardware stores and both said its 7/16.

Call Tech 21. Ask for replacement nut.

I would just call Tech 21. I have ordered replacement parts for them without a problem. They are great.

Take your pedal to Meijer or Lowes or Home Depot and go to the hardware aisle. They’ll have a nut/bolt thread match tool for public use.

I just took my pedal to Ace and replaced them all with metal ones when mine broke. I haven’t had any issues since.
