Sansamp Plus Volume Boost Pedal?

I’m thinking of getting a (mostly clean) volume boost pedal so I can play my solos a little louder.
My setup now is: Passive Bass >> Sansamp BDDI >> Effects Return of my amp.
I’ve looked at The Mole and the LPB-1, both from EHX.
Am I on the right track? Any other ideas?

Of those two youd want the LPB1 the mole boosts low frequencies and would alter your tone the LPB1 is just louder and can potentially add some overdrive depending on how hard you push it.
