sansamp problems

I set my controls straight up on everything to bring myself back to some sort of zero, then adjust the EQ on the sansamp as necessary. I leave the blend at 100%, and set the gain a little lower than halfway. If you want more gain, back off the blend to keep a good amount of low end in the signal.

and you keep your amp eq flat?

Yessir. Let the BDDI do the work. My amp's EQ section isn't the best, (SVT-CL) and I'm trying to push the amp in a direction it doesn't want to go in anyway. I like thick and grindy, and the SVT doesn't do the grind I hear in my head, so it gets a kick in the pants from a Paradriver DI and a RAT pedal.
