Seems interesting enough. I currently run a pedal preamp on my board (Mesa Subway DI) straight into a power amp and enjoy that setup, so it's nice to see more products coming out in that vein, and with some footswitchable options as well. I do note that the Mesa has XLR outs for both the preamp out and the DI out (which I use to go to my power amp and to FOH or recording interface, respectively) whereas this looks like it only has an XLR for the DI and a 1/4" for the preamp out, although I'm not really sure if that would make a big difference in practice.

This is unexpectedly pretty interesting to me... Recently I've been toying with the idea to minimise my band board as far as possible - I use tuner, octaver, fuzz/overdrive/boost and a preamp (BDDI, when I don't have my amp). With the Elite I could put the octaver (which isn't true bypass) in effect loop and basically gig with only 2 pedals! :hyper:
Prices aren't really proportionate with the Sweetwater and Thomann for Tech21 products, I'm thinking Elite will be around € 400 in Europe... Hope I'm wrong though!

Headphone out = practice option when I'm in a hotel for a couple days between things. I don't think the headphone option adds noise to the GK Plex, and doesn't make it any less of a pro piece of gear.

So far I think this is the coolest new gear of the year. April?!? My inner 8 year old can't wait that long! But I pre-ordered. I'll enjoy it (their gear never disappoints) but ultimately sell it because I've reached an age where one tonal foundation suits what I do...GK is my thing.

Now, 1 day, 21 hours, 20 minutes until Reverend takes their shot at coolest. Anticipation!

Neither available until April. Which is crazy.

The DP3X and XB Driver also had April ETAs as I recall, but were both delayed by months. No idea whether that's the norm or I was just unlucky twice.

Looks like they used the Marty Friedman housing

Not that it matters, but I'm pretty sure the XB Driver was first in that housing.

Seems like Tech 21 is always had this problem with announcing a new product and taking half the year to get it how GK is even worse
