SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver ELITE

Wondering if this will be able to program with an app on iOS/Android or if it will be PC only? If the former, will it have Bluetooth connectivity?

Sorry if I missed somewhere earlier in the thread.
The Marty Friedman version of this only has Mac and PC. I can't image the Bass Driver will be any different.

I’m thinking I may preorder. If I can get programmable clean to dirty settings from BDDI to VTDI now with mids, unlike the OG programmable BDDI, the rest of the functions will just be cake. Seems a win the more I think on it.
This is EXACTLY my reasoning and why I was excited to pre order. As long as it is pretty close in tone, which I have not reason to believe it's not. The added mid control over the programmable is what I have been waiting for.

It does. But again, so did the Fly Rig v2. I'll be skeptical until I see a manual.
I never thought the Fly rigs had it all. Missing the newer features of the MKII BDDI. In fact all the bigger Bass Drivers seem to lack the mid and low end control. I loved the Q-strip and Paradriver, and this new box seems to have parts of those.

Seeing as I have ordered one, I am really interested to see how the tuner works. It says it's chromatic but no visuals in the manual (or any videos) of how it indicates a sharp or flat for instance down tune to an Eb. If it detects sharps and flats quick, I can hopefully get a tuner off my board! I'm sure the Marty Friedman pedal works exactly the same but I haven't seen anything on that either.

I have the old VT Bass Deluxe, and the one thing I really wish it had is a "regular" (or if you will "freewheel") mode - whereby the pedal operated the same as any other pedal, in that the effect it has corresponds with wherever the control are set at that moment.

The other thing that would be a welcome addition, would be the ability to tweak an existing patch, and then save it to a different memory slot (keeping the original intact, and the new one as a separate patch, the locations of which can be edited / reorganised via the software editor).

The Programmable Bass Driver Elite being entirely digital, means that both of those operational upgrades are possible - and hopefully, even if they aren't currently implemented, could be included with future firmware upgrades.
