sansamp rbi to svt4pro

i've seen two different bassists doing this as well... the sansamp is meant to emulate an SVT-like sound, why even bother?

one bassist (who was running a svt-CL through a sansamp (???)) was asking how I got my rig to sound so "tubey" (sansamp BDDI) and i was like, dude, YOU HAVE TUBES! USE THEM.

Because the SVT-4PRO on it's own isn't very SVT like.

I just use the Sansamp to add an edge to the sound, the 4PRO is a really clean amp so having an RBI will make it sound more warm.

ya thats what im thinkin, im bored of the svt by itself so i thought to pump it up a tiny a bit to make the tone cut and make it even more svt-ish lol
what outputs and inputs should i use on both the rbi and the svt to ensure the best sound?
