Hoping to upgrade my rack by adding a qsc power amp and a solid state preamp. Need to buy fairly cheap (no demeter or Eden) so I was looking into the Tech 21 sansamp rackmount thing and the BBE Bmax. They both look fairly similar in features and price. At the mo I'm edging towrds the BBE because of the sonic maximiser and compressor but I like the additional DI features on the Sansamp.
Any opinions?
It is for playing a variety of styles from jazz to ballroom to heavy rock to country on a ship gig. Will be ran through Ampeg SVT cabs (2x10 and 1x15).
