The BDDI Bass Driver gets a pretty good SVt tone.

  4. I play a rig with the tech 21 sansamp rbi and it does a mean svt, no doubt. I can A/B it with my SVT 4 pro and it is a very believable copy of the tone... if you left the room and came back... you'd never know the switch had been made.

  5. I JUST RETUBES MY SVT PRO III. WOULD I BENIFITE ADDING A SANSAMP. IT SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD RIGHT NOW. (GOT A HINT OF
THE VINTAGE SVT GROWL). THANKS FOR ALL REPLIES.

If your just going for the SVT sound, then re-tubing has solved that, and you don't "need" a BDDI.

Though, you might consider one as a backup to your amp. If your amp fails ever, you can just go direct with the BDDI and sound the same!

Oh, and you don't have to capitalize your posts, we can all read you just fine... ;)
