Savarez 4CB640R Ends?

Waiting to hear back from a contact form I sent to Hannabach strings. I'm considering these for an electro-acoustic but its bridge requires ball ends. LaBella makes them but the gauges are too light I think.
Yep, Savarez contrabass guitar strings have plain ends. I have mine tied into four big knots (bridge is a pin-less but into-the-soundhole, back-through-the-bridge-plate design). You could also thread the ends of each string into an old ball end, then tie them into a not-big, large-enough knot.

Thanks. I may give that a try (or something similar), maybe with some cyano glue. Hannaback also makes a similar set, although with slightly lighter gauges.
