Saw this today, could not get a good angle for a good shot. Part of it was blocked off. Plus most of the ports are secure areas. It was interesting, don't see sailing ships this size. It's the 3rd largest "tall ship' in the world.

I remember watching that on TV back then. There were a lot of great bicentennial celebrations in '76, but that one stood out.I remember the tall ships flotilla during the sesquicentennial back in 1976. It was magnificent.
Originally a German ship, it was captured during the war and repurposed as the USCG training ship.I also saw the USCG Eagle in Savannah several years ago. We were able to walk around on it. Beautiful ship. Nicer than the Elcano I listed above.
