You could know people who cut, but you might not see it. Most people who self-harm go to extraordinary measures to hide the fact. Cutting isn't always done on the forearms or anywhere where people will see. In fact, most people who are serious cutters wouldn't cut on exposed skin - most people who do this are generally the scene kiddies who think cutting is somehow "cool".

Yep. Attention whores are the only ones who cut on their forearms or talk publicly about cutting. Fact of the matter is the people with real problems aren't that upfront about it to people off the street :p.

Scarification, done correctly, is a beautiful art. As it is, I'm underage, but once I've had a few years to contemplate on designs/ideas, I would like to get some heavier body modifications done. It wouldn't be for anyone else but myself, and to say that I would be wrong or a bad person for it needs to wake up.
