Schecter 8 String Diamond series

I have an opportunity to get this bass and know nothing about it and unfortunately cannot find much info.
What is this bass worth? It says Diamond Series on the headstock, made in Indonesia on the back of the neck, off white color.
This is the only info I can give.
Is it worth a trade for a ESP LTD Surveyor identical to this one? Invalid Link Removed

Both basses are in great condition but I just didn't ever get comfortable with the ESP, I rarely play it and am looking for something different.

I am not sure, however I have played the ltd and know a lot about. Why cant you get comfortable?

I could never get comfortable with the neck. I am used to the Ibanez SR basses and, well, you can imagine the difference.
Soooo I figure I would like to possibly get this 8 string, just for something different and while the neck is still not SR typical, the bass itself is different and I figure I can use it occasionally on certain tunes.
I paid 750 for the ESP new and although I see the price has gone down since, I still don't know if it's a fair trade ($$$ wise) on my end.
Anybody familiar with these 8 string basses?

I have the 8-string Schecter, and IME/IMHO it's a fine bass for the money. It plays pretty well and is fairly comfortable, though the neck is a little on the thick/wide side.
