Schecter help!

Hi, I bought a Schecter Stilleto extreme Diamond series a while ago. It was on sale due to a fault with the wiring. I opened it up to see what exectly is wrong with it, but someone in the factory or shop seriously messed around with this thing some bits are taped together with masking tape. I bought it anyway becouse it was a steal. It plays great, looks devine but sounds absolute crap! If anyone has a bass like this and can maybe draw up a diagram of how it should look, please help me. My other option is to replace all of the electronics or take it to a repair shop, but living in south africa, my options of repair shops are limited and its gonna cost an arm and a leg to replace the electronics, someone please help!

Schecter has the schematics on their web site. Hopefully you wont need to replace anything, just hook it up right.

Cant find anything on the site, it seem sthat there is a downloadable wiring graph for every model exept this one, it also seems that this is the only model with Schecter pickups, where as all the others are EMG or Schecter-active? I checked out all of the other basses' wiring at none of them seem to have this Black squere 2-band eq. I'm going to try the Delux's wiring and see if that works. Maybe I should just bypass the wole thing. what do you think.

Ok, so it seems that the wiring on The Extreme is the same as on the Omen and the delux. So It was correct after all, just badly put together. It's not a sound that I am happy with, but if you are in the same situation as myself try this: (I saw it in the EMG wiring diagrams) If you connect another 9v battery into the chain next to the original one, you extend it to 18v in total. This does not increase output, But lestens distortion and gives a bit more head-room.
