I have a lefty 2012 Schecter Baron-H Vintage (not the dUg model), a single Bass Lines PU with 1 volume and 2 EQ controls. Whenever I adjust the bass control the sound will cut in & out, if I return it to the middle position the sound will return in a few seconds. The volume and treble controls work fine. I've replaced the battery but this didn't help. Could this be the preamp failing? If so, what would be a good replacement for this bass?
