Not really my cup of tea I'd say, but this new bass from Schecter looks pretty sweet. Schecter meets Aerodyne I guess.

Schecter SLS Evil Twin-4 - Satin Black

Just received mine at thee end of last month-was on backorder at MF. was in GC one day for strings and happened to see on the wall, pulled it down to check it out, went home that day and ordered it. Love the neck and how it feels. Only thing out of the box was i had to mess with the truss rod-there was major string buzz, but 1/4-1/2 turn and that took care of that. Havent had a chance to plug it in yet to see how the pups sound (rig is at the drummers house and quarantine means no practice right now), but cant wait to hear how it sounds once i get it plugged in.

These are not my style at all aesthetically but I played one and OMG I was shocked. The Fishman electronics are superb. The neck is one of the nicest I’ve ever played at any price point. Kinda shocked how much I liked it. Even response across the finger board, full range of tones, fret work was perfect and intonation was perfect as well. If they’re all like that, it’s a no brainer

Had to put gaff tape over that horrible Dracula font logo but this is a killer bass. Previous owner installed a d tuner too.

I've been interested in the "regular" SLS and the Evil Twin, in both 4 and 5 strings, for a while, but I don't NEED a new bass right now.

But I was in the market for a guitar. I ended up buying a C-1 SLS Evil Twin guitar, shown below. I was really impressed with the build quality and the feel of the neck. The neck relief, string height, and intonation were almost perfect out of the box. Plus, I think it looks great in person.

Now I think I DO need the bass version.

I played a C-4 Silver Mountain with Fluence pups

7.5 pounds

Amazing geel and tone

But over the top blue pattern

For once, I may go for it strictly on the build, features, feel, and tone
