Schecter stiletto custom or g&l tribute L-2000

I have been thinking about getting one of these two. The Schecter is made in korea I think and the g&l is made in indonesia. They both run about $550.
Does anyone have any opinions on which I should choose? Ill be playing jazz, funk, rock, blues and i'm a relatively new bass player, but a guitarist of 10 years.

The L-2000 is quite versatile. The early G&L Tribute line was built in Korea, then later move to Indonesia (just like Lakland )

I've owned both. The Schecter neck felt better but the G & L was much better sounding.

I own both and love them both. You can't go wrong with either one but the G&L is a lot more versatile in terms of tone so I would recommend that since you will be covering several genres.
