schecter

I just picked up a stiletto studio 5, not sure how great that is up against the other schecters. But I love the damn thing. P.s.there's a whole schecter owners club thread on here. Post up some pictures!

That's what I have .. and it is a great bass. When I got my JV24 I was going to sell the Shcecter but I couldn't. It plays well.. and it has a different sound to it than the Fender.. It is a little grittier .. at least to my ears.. and it is a beautiful bass. The Fender is my main bass... I like the feel of it and I like the electronics in it better.. they are not stock .. but I still play the Schecter.

I picked this up in a local pawn shop a few years back.. I think it was like .. 5 bills if I remember correctly..

I have played many stilettos and I like them a lot and I understand the controls and whatnot. However, I cant get my hands on a pawn shop mustang. None of my local music stores have them in stock :/ so I think I'm going to be sticking with the stiletto. Thank u for all your help

I currently own a fretless Studio-4, fretted Custom-4, and fretted 5 string P bass from Schecter. Out of the three, my favorite is the fretless. However, I spent about 7 years with the Custom-4 as my one and only. The P bass is also an amazing bass for the price. Just pick any one of them.

Yes I am very torn between the two. The schecter I want is a little more complicated than some of the fenders I am interested in. I just don't really understand the knobs. I am a newer bassist and I'm not very experianced in tone customization

I'm confused... Do you understand them or don't you? You said both.

Anyway, if the Stiletto is your bag, enjoy!

I have a flawless Stiletto Extreme 5 on ebay for 299.99. Love the bass, just not a 5-string guy. I also own the Extreme 4, and it's my go-to bass.

Indeed they are awesome basses. my other choice of a schecter bass would of been a schecter C-5 deluxe 5-string bass. I was kinda curious about that bass, but I had my heart set on buying a stiletto 5-string bass.
