Schematic for a Stock Alvarez Dana?

I'm doing this for a friend who lives in Wassau WI. He's my old drummer buddy and he has had an Alvarez Dana Bass for a long time and a previous owner made a mess out of the wiring. Looks like a rats nest. He has the skills just can't make sense of the mess.

I believe the pickups are active and there is a tiny PCB in the cavity which leads me to believe that it's a P/J with a volume bass and teble control layout.

Any information would help; even a gut shot. Is this an old standard circuit from one of the aftermarket guys?

I have one that came with EMGs already installed, the stock pre was mis-wired and the pickup selector switch replaced improperly with a blend knob. I replaced the stock pre with an EMG BQC, which works perfectly. It's my #1 bass even though it's my cheapest. (Pawn shop buy). I would recommend scrapping all of the stock electronics. They weren't anything great, the real cool factor is the offset body. (And the unlined ceramic fingerboard on the fretless variety like mine).
