Was invited to leave Wesleyan after 3 semesters. Tried Yale 6 months later, lasted 1 semester, then worked for 2 years. Took courses at LA Pierce College and Southern Connecticut State, worked another year, then went to NYU, graduating with a BFA 4 years late.
That should mess up your sample nicely.
