Schroeder cabs?

Hey, so I'm currently running a modulus VJ through an svt-4 and a 9x10 cab and I'm looking into invest in a cab that is loud, but doesn't weigh 250 pounds. I came across schroeder and wanted to know if anyone on here had one or would recommend one.

Have you tried the search feature? These cabs have been discussed to death over the last 6 months. I wouldn't worry too much, you should have plenty of opinions in no time. There are several regulars to the Schroeder discussions.

I think this is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of deal though. They're voiced uniquely for live use, and it works.

If you want to take a drive you could drive down to LA and see Mr. Schroeder and see/test the cabs first hand.....

They are great cabs! And Jorg's customer service is THE BEST, hands down.

I own a 1210 but I am selling it because I already own some larger cabs (Eden 4x10 and Ampeg 6x10) that I use most of the time. Due to the size of the venues I normally play the 1210 is a bit too small for my needs.

loud and light?????i just picked up a 210212 light and loud it is.i also have a 410 light and a 212 light.sound is always the subjective part.personally i love em.they work great for me.

I'm a happy owner of Mini 12+ and 1210. Use the Mini 12 for upright Jazz, the 1210 for Rock 'n Roll on a slab. Both offer sound bigger than the cab. Some people don't care for the sound but in my case, they give the sound I need. The beauty of Schroe's are that they "cut through the mix" of the band. Therefore, you might not need to be as "loud" as with other cabs. And, yes, Jorg is a great guy who's customer service can't be beat.

I love my 21012. It replaced my Cerwin Vega 18 & Electro Voice EVM 15. Jorg is one of the best people to deal with.

This is exactly right. Call Jorg (Schroeder, owneer). He;'s a great guy to deal with, and can tell you what in his product line will suit your needs. Huge +1 on Schroeders for me...
