Schroeder Mini 12+L

I have been thinking about getting a schroder mini 12L. I have looked thru posts, I read where these cabs rock
& punch. But how is the big deep old school sound with these ? Or is it not voiced for that?

Deep lows aren't Schroeder's thing. They are a compromised cab that purposefully sacrifices low end extension and flat frequency response in order to get seriously impressive volume and a voice that cuts through the mix. Of course, the extra volume and the very forward voice complement each other to make the cab a loud cab that sounds even louder than it is.

They are probably the best at what they do and I love them, but maybe they're not for you in this application?

Not sure about the L series Schroeders but I can say that I own two 12PL’s and I couldn’t be happier with the low end response, as well as everything else about them. They sound fabulous with a Mesa TT800 with every bass I play—from a Jazz 4 strung with light rounds to Sadowsky 5 strung with flats. They are particularly awesome with a Jerry Jones Longhorn…
I should also add that using just one for small shows works just as well.
