Scion / Toyota ad: Problems with this..

i really like the xb's and am going to be doing some car shopping pretty soon. can somebody like me with no credit but a full time job even consider a new xb? my jimmy has seen better days and instead of throwing even more money into it, i think i'll just dump it. how high is insurence on a new xb? i'm 19 with a clean record.

Probably not likely without a cosigner, or "break leg", high interest financing.

The Element is by far one of the most ugliest cars i've ever seen in my entire life. The xB on the other hand is beautiful.

I agree with maddox

Fellow spector friend....with all due respect, what are you smoking? There is ALL kinds of room for 4 passengers comfortably in the xb.

I meant that the Element itself is leaps and bounds above the Xb I drove. Granted that was about 3 years ago so I don't know much about the new Xb's.;) The one thing I did like about the Xb was the fact that there was plenty of room for more than 4 passengers.

Maddox is a putz, and you can think what you like, but I have the exact opposite opinion: The xB is LITERALLY a pair of rectangles with wheels, the definition of a "boxy car". There are at least some non-right angles on the E, and from a functionality/comfort standpoint, there is NO COMPARISON. (sorry Tim ;) )

Someone ought to point out that the new xB is quite strikingly different from the prior model. It's lower, wider, a lot longer, has 50% more horsepower, and significantly larger wheels. Cargo capacity is basically unchanged, but differently configured.

Reviews say it's a big improvement, much better for longer trips and higher speeds, more comfortable all around. Still competes with the Element, of course.
