SD 1/4 lb in active Precision Special?

I'm interested in the active Fender Precision Deluxe. It has a lot of what i want; maple jazz neck p and j pickups and the high mass bridge. Plus they're now running that 18 volt preamp. Question is I really love the sound of my 1/4 pounder, Will they work in that bass with that preamp?

The stock pickup is passive, so yes. The only problem might be the pickup actually clipping the preamp because that QP is mighty hot, but with 18v it should be fine.
