seafoam green p-bass...

I would have bought the hoppus sig bass if they sold his custom ones. I used to be a huge blink fan. And at some live shows he had a plad version of his sig bass. The neon pink one would have been cool too. I like the fact that It has a jazz body and I think a jazz neck with the p bass pickup. But the single volume knob was another feature that made me decide not to get that bass.

+1. I love the neon pink bass also. And i also agree w/ the J-body, then P neck and pups. BUT, i like the volume only knob because i'm just gonna mess w/ my tone from an eq or a preamp or something so i really don't use my tone knobs on my bass..... maybe i'm just ignorant but o well

These colors are hard to come by off the shelf.
If you can, you should paint one yourself..there's a lot of good friendly help over at the ReRanch forum.
Good luck,Cheers.

The Mark Hoppus P is surf green but much closer to sea foam than surf greens of the past and I'm pretty sure they're going to clearance at a lot of places.
but you could always have this guy build you one

his prices are really fair

and if you don't like relic jobs he can do what he calls an altar boy finish as if the guitar has been around for a while but has been well taken care of like this...

I saw it too in the GC brochure and had my local GC store put the first one they got in aside for me. $799 does seem a little high for a MIM Fender and I was a little wary but after having it for less than a week, its my favorite. F-ing awesome color, great paint job and very nicely built. It's also active which is nice for a greater variety of tone control. I highly recommend it!
