Seafoam green: the pepto-bismol of greens

I’ll just leave this here:

I bought my daughter a Surf green Tele she’s been wanting to go with her Seafoam Strat.

GC had a deal running on an exclusive to them Mint Green Sterling Classic Stingray 25 CA, so daddy got a new toy for Christmas too.

I’ve tried in vain to find a 34 CA in Mint since I foolishly passed on the one I tried in the store when they were originally available. Not identical specs but I’m digging this bass.

There is alot good to say about porta potty green--during the summer my band played 4 hours every Saturday morning and the only thing that let me drink coffee to stay awake and water to stay hydrated was having a porta potty to go to since the health dept stopped letting us use the bathroom in the building because of COVID

The funny thing is when Pepto-Bismol was still being developed in early 1900, there was some indecision about the color, should it be a light mint green...it was, of course flavored with wintermint and most people associated mint with green, or should it be a pale blue.
At the time, however, pink was considered a masculine color and blue a feminine color so it was decided pink would be a better choice as men were the primary breadwinners back then.
A somewhat misogynistic thought, perhaps, but...
