Searching for a new bridge - Need help

Okay, so I have a project I'm working on in the luthier's corner, it's a Pbass, Bently Series10, and I'm looking to replace the bridge, which is unusable.

Now, the issue I'm running into, is that I can't seem to find any bridges that have a string through pattern to match the body. The holes are at an angle, instead of a straight, perpendicular line.

Here's a pic for you:

Once I get home from work, I can post a closeup of the bridge area. I haven't tried to line up any other bridges, and I don't actually know where mine went for this guy, so I don't even have a reference. I'd like to get something nice like a badass bridge, but just eyeballing their products, it's pretty clear they aren't lined up like this.

Or am I crazy, and this is the standard and I just can't see it on other basses?

Figure out what the string spacing is on the holes and order The Hipshot bridge you need. The angle of the holes through the body is of no consequence (other than being angled makes it more compatible with flatwound E strings!), the placement of them in relation to scale length is. The holes exit point on the top should be sufficiently behind the witness point to allow proper intonation and not interfere with the saddles. You have to assume the body maker has done this for you. You have to assume that its all set up to Fender specs.

OH! See, there's the misunderstanding. It's not that the holes are at an angle through the body, but instead, the line of holes, from EADG are off kilter.

If you look close at the picture, S is for screw hole
S------------S
---E----------
----A---------

S------------S

It looks more like that.

It's alright. I've never actually seen this bad boy with strings on it, and I'm fair certain that the bridge that came with it didn't have the string through option, so, you know, I gotta figure out what scale it is and work from there.

Or I could just get the bridge I want, and not use string through.
Though that's stupid. It's there after all.

Okay, so say I got Triple-Lock Down Chrome > Store > Hipshot Products
their individual bridges. If they're adjustable for intonation, the E-G strings are only about half an inch off from eachother. I could just compensate by adjusting them, but the bridges will be all off kilter and cool looking! Like I'm playing some Fanned frets or something!

Of course, I could just buy a neck with fanned frets.

OR

Just sand the fretboard all the way down, buy a new fretboard, and do fanned frets.
HOLY CRAP

Those will work. And I think it would look cool too. The saddles on those slide and lock in place with a setscrew. I have some like that but the saddles don't have much range so you'd have to see if that work out in an angle...... I'm digging that body though!
